Bio
Yvette Abizeyimana is a MasterCard Foundation Scholar in her first-year at EARTH University pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science and Natural Resource Management. She became a Resolution fellowship winner in June of 2017 at Johannesburg, South Africa. She is the co-founder of Rwanda Youth Initiative for Agricultural Transformation (RYIAT). She is also the founder of Mukobwa Ivugire “girl speak for yourself”, an organization that aims at empowering teenage girls through awareness of early pregnancy prevention and molding them into creative and innovative businesspeople. She is striving for a better future through transforming agriculture as major tool for development and believes that educating a woman is key to any natiońs growth.
