Thomas Uhler, originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, is a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania. Thomas is studying in the Vagelos Life Sciences and Management program and pursuing two degrees, one in molecular biology and one in business. Scientific research is a passion for Thomas, demonstrated by his years of work in University of Michigan laboratories. Thomas has always held a fascination for the role of DNA in shaping our world, as well as an interest in the broad scope of genetics and biochemistry. He also has a vested interest in entrepreneurship, his planned concentration at Wharton. Since a young age, Thomas has dreamed of starting a business which has a meaningful impact on the world. In his free time, Thomas enjoys photography, mainly capturing wildlife and landscapes. Thomas also devotes time to his obsession with soccer, while also finding musical balance in his life by playing the piano.
