Bio
Asma AlJehani is a student at Georgetown University, majoring in Culture and Politics and is the founder of The Future is Female. She is interested in female and youth empowerment, especially through education. She believes that the only way to ensure a future of equality and justice is by teaching the younger generations to be more proactive and to learn about their world and what they can do to make it better. As such, she is participating in different educational initiatives, with a focus on women’s rights. Furthermore, she is also working on initiatives that focus on the rights and welfare of domestic workers and construction workers in Qatar.
