Two American university students used an existing Internet connection in rural Rwanda to create a sustainable Internet café with free IT training to educate the community on technological applications.

Farmers have used this to check weather, as well as commodities prices to ensure that they receive fair prices when they sell to middlemen. Young people have used it to explore outsourcing and educational opportunities. After overcoming issues of location and subscription pricing, the café is in the process of hiring its first full-time IT instructor.
