Global Health Solutions was inspired by Resolution Fellow Shaan Gandhi’s 2010 venture, Health2Home.

Applying the same SMS-delivery technology (Frontline SMS), GHS informs its messaging through an innovative use of the Ushahidi Platform to crowdsource the most relevant topics to address based on geography and chatter. Their team of physicians then broadcats appropriate messaging to indigenous communities. Thusfar, GHS has focused on gaining acceptance from the elders of the indigenous population, and on promoting user adoption.
